About Me

Andrea took the Circle of Security Parenting course when her son was an infant and it has guided her parenting style for nearly a decade.

Andrea brings a unique blend of hands-on experience and empathetic guidance to the work she does, with a deep passion for early childhood development and parent support. She’s had the privilege of working in a cooperative preschool setting, where collaboration with families and educators is at the heart of the learning environment. This experience has given her valuable insights into child-led play, community building, and the importance of an inclusive and supportive environment.

Since 2019, she has been leading support PEPS parent support groups creating safe, welcoming spaces for open conversation, connection, and shared growth. She’s committed to fostering confidence, compassion, and community every step of the way, whether facilitating a toddler’s first classroom experience or supporting a parent through the early months of caregiving.

She is dedicated to continuing her own education and understanding of parenting topics, through both official educational programs and a seemingly ever-growing collection of books.. As both an educator and parent, she is strongly influenced by Ross Greene, Julie Bogart, The Occuplaytional Therapist, and Debbie LeeKeenan. She is especially dedicated to community outreach, learning about parenting neurodivergent children, as well as the ups and downs of both public schools and homeschooling.

Andrea is certified to facilitate Circle of Security Parenting™ groups.

Andrea lives in Seattle with her son, husband and dog. In her spare time, you can find her in her garden, at Mariners and Kraken games, or line dancing the night away.
